Once we receive your order, it’s immediately reviewed and processed by our dedicated BaliSouk team. Every order is carefully managed to ensure accuracy. After processing, we forward the order details to our talented local artisan partners in Bali. They are the ones who lovingly prepare your handmade items, packing them with care and attention to detail. The process begins as soon as your order is confirmed, ensuring a seamless and timely experience.

How Order Processing and Dispatch works?

⏳ Timeframe: From 2 to 20 days (average time) depending of products' availability
📋 Our actions: Review & Assign the order, and follow-up to update our clients

🚢  2. Shipping from Bali

After your items are prepared, they are dispatched from Bali directly by the artisan, using our trusted local carriers (for local delivery in Bali) or our international freight forwarding companies (for international shipping).

How shipping fees are calculated?

Shipping fees are based on 4 different criteria:

• 📏 Size (total size of all items)
• ⚖️ Weight (total weight of all items)
• 📦 Volume (total volume of all items - this is the most important criteria!)
• 📍 Destination (your exact address - or the exact delivery address)

Then, the most suitable shipping method is chosen to ensure your package arrives safely in optimal condition : Sea Freight Forwarding Companies OR Air Freight Forwarding Companies. 

Please note that our Freight Forwarding Companies will always select the best compromise for you by reducing shipping fees. In this case, your products could be shipped by Air Freight Forwarding Companies such as DHL, UPS or Fedex. Indeed, sometimes based on your products (which means size, volume and weight), if they are small, it's sometimes cheaper to send them by plane.

However, if your order doesn't match with Air Freight Forwarding Fees, which is the most cases for furniture, then our Freight Forwarding Companies will choose Sea Freight Forwarding Companies such as CMA CGM, Maersk, MSC, Hapag-Lloyd, EverGreen Marine, Cosco Shipping, Ocean Network Express, Yang Ming Marine Transport, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, Pacific International Lines, Expeditors International, DSV Panalpina, Sinotrans and more.

Sea Freight Shipping by cargo :

Sea Freight Shipping Fees (cargo) are the most affordable for furniture comparing with Air Freight Shipping Fees.

Sea Freight Shipping Fees (cargo) are based on the total size, total weight, total volume and quantity of the items in your order from Bali, Indonesia, to the nearest port to your location accordingly to our Freight Forwarding Companies.

Sea Freight Shipping Fees are calculated and clearly displayed at checkout, ensuring full transparency. The total of Sea Freight Shipping Fees is included in the final amount you pay when confirming your order on the checkout page.

Please note that Sea Freight Shipping Fees may vary depending on freight forwarding companies rate increases or decreases. BaliSouk do not control that unfortunately, and prices change every month, it's global. In such cases, we may issue a partial refund of shipping fees to your benefit or, conversely, charge additional shipping fees if necessary. We strive to offer competitive rates to make it as affordable as possible to bring a piece of Bali into your home.

How Shipping works?

Once your order is on its way, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Log in to your BaliSouk account anytime for detailed updates on your order’s journey. Whether it’s still in Bali or en route to you, all the information is at your fingertips!

You can track the status of your delivery in real-time, giving you peace of mind and letting you know when to expect your order. We understand the excitement of waiting for your special items, and we want to keep you informed every step of the way. We are also here anytime for you!
