Made-to-order creations
Many BaliSouk creations are made to order, specifically sourced, individually prepared, customized, reserved, or allocated following order confirmation.
This approach allows us to offer distinctive handcrafted pieces prepared specifically for each customer rather than mass-produced furniture.
As many BaliSouk creations are made or prepared specifically for each customer, orders become final once preparation or production has started.

Handcrafted in Bali
BaliSouk Products are created using premium natural materials such as teak, solid wood, rattan, stone, linen, and other natural materials.
Because of the handcrafted nature of our collections, reasonable variations in color, grain, texture, weaving, stone patterns, dimensions, and finishing may naturally occur from one piece to another.
These natural variations are part of the character, authenticity, and uniqueness of handcrafted Bali furniture and decor.
From Bali to your destination
At BaliSouk, we make ordering handcrafted furniture and decor directly from Bali as simple and seamless as possible.
Our team coordinates every step required to prepare your order for international transportation, including product preparation, quality control, packing, export preparation, and shipment coordination from Bali.
We work with experienced international logistics partners to organize transportation according to the size, volume, destination, and specific requirements of your order.
Your order is carefully prepared and packed for international transportation, with insured shipping where applicable under the selected shipping conditions.
What to expect
BaliSouk Products may be made to order, individually prepared, specifically sourced, customized, reserved, or produced in limited quantities.
Once your order is confirmed, the relevant Product may immediately be allocated, prepared, sourced, or placed into production specifically for you.
Preparation typically takes between 2 and 20 business days depending on the Product, availability, materials, finish, dimensions, specifications, production requirements, quality control, and packing requirements.
Once your order is ready, it is carefully packed and released for international transportation from Bali.
International transit generally takes between 1 and 6 weeks depending on the destination and transportation method. These timelines are estimates and may vary because of customs procedures, carrier schedules, transshipment, local handling, or other transportation conditions.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated according to the total size, weight, volume, packaging requirements, shipping method, and destination of your order.
The applicable international shipping amount is displayed before checkout or confirmed separately where a custom shipping quotation is required.
Smaller items may be transported by air where appropriate. Furniture and larger-volume orders are generally transported by sea, including Less than Container Load (LCL) freight where applicable.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise for a specific order, the shipping amount covers the international transportation services specified for your order from Bali.
Customs, duties and destination charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, customs-clearance fees, destination handling charges, local transportation charges, or other destination-country costs.
These charges vary by country and are not included in the Product price or international shipping price unless BaliSouk expressly confirms otherwise in writing for your order.
Where such charges apply to the Customer, Consignee, Importer, or other importing party, they remain the responsibility of that party.
A local destination agent, customs broker, carrier, or other logistics provider may contact you directly after shipment or before arrival to assist with the applicable customs formalities, cargo release, local charges, collection, or onward delivery.
Pre-shipment information
Depending on your destination and shipping method, some additional information or documentation may be required for international transportation or customs purposes.
If anything is required for your order, our team will guide you through the process before shipment.
LCL sea freight
Furniture and larger-volume orders may be shipped by Less than Container Load (LCL) sea freight.
With LCL shipping, your order travels securely within a shared container together with cargo belonging to other customers.
After arrival in the destination country, the container is deconsolidated and your shipment is released through the local freight and customs network.
Depending on the destination, customs clearance, destination handling, collection, or local delivery arrangements may then be required.
Track your shipment
Shipment information is provided after dispatch whenever available.
For air and courier shipments, tracking may be similar to traditional parcel tracking.
For international sea freight, particularly LCL shipments, tracking is generally provided through vessel information, carrier schedules, Bills of Lading, freight-forwarder updates, or destination-agent communications rather than continuous parcel-style tracking.
Our team remains available throughout the international transportation process to provide the shipment information available to us and assist with coordination where appropriate.
Delays and international transportation
We work with experienced logistics partners to coordinate international transportation from Bali to destinations around the world.
International transportation can occasionally be affected by carrier schedules, transshipment, customs procedures, inspections, port congestion, weather conditions, public holidays, or other events outside BaliSouk’s reasonable control.
For this reason, preparation, dispatch, transit, arrival, customs, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
If an unexpected delay occurs, our team will provide the information available to us and coordinate with the relevant logistics partners whenever appropriate.
