This Shipping Policy governs the preparation, shipment, delivery, tracking, customs-related responsibilities, and international transportation conditions of orders placed through the BaliSouk website. By placing an order on the website, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted the terms set forth in this Shipping Policy.

Order preparation

All orders are reviewed and prepared by the BaliSouk team following successful payment confirmation.

Order preparation time generally ranges from two to twenty business days depending on product availability, product specifications, preparation requirements, packing requirements, and the exclusive nature of BaliSouk creations.

Shipping origin

All products sold on the BaliSouk website are shipped from Bali, Indonesia.

BaliSouk does not ship products from local warehouses located in the Customer’s country of residence.

Shipping methods

Shipping methods are determined by BaliSouk based on the characteristics of each order, including size, weight, volume, quantity of items, packaging requirements, and delivery destination.

Depending on the order configuration, shipments may be transported by air or sea under the shipping conditions selected for the order.

The selected shipping method is intended to ensure safe international transportation and does not constitute a guaranteed delivery timeframe.

Estimated delivery timelines

Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only. Delivery generally ranges from one to six weeks after dispatch depending on destination, customs procedures, transportation conditions, and destination-country logistics conditions.

Delivery timelines are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond BaliSouk’s control, including customs procedures, inspections, weather events, local regulations, transportation disruptions, force majeure events, public holidays, or destination-country requirements.

Shipping fees

Shipping fees are calculated according to logistical criteria including total size, total weight, total volume, packaging requirements, shipping method, and delivery destination.

Shipping costs applicable to international transportation are displayed at checkout prior to order confirmation or confirmed separately where a custom shipping quotation is required.

The shipping amount paid at checkout covers international transportation from Bali, packing, export preparation, and transportation insurance where applicable.

Shipping fees are calculated primarily according to the logistical volume of the order, including cubic meter requirements where applicable, especially for furniture and larger pieces transported by sea.

What shipping fees do not include

Unless explicitly confirmed otherwise in writing by BaliSouk, shipping fees paid at checkout do not include customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, customs clearance fees, storage fees, local delivery fees, handling charges, administrative fees, or any other charges imposed by authorities or third parties in the destination country.

Such charges vary depending on destination country, shipment type, local regulations, customs classification, and destination-country procedures.

All destination-country charges remain the sole responsibility of the Customer.

Destination-country charges and customs release

Additional destination-country charges may be requested before the shipment can be released, cleared, collected, or delivered.

The Customer acknowledges that payment of the product price and shipping fees on the BaliSouk website does not mean that all import-related or destination-country charges have been paid.

The Customer is solely responsible for paying any duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, local charges, storage fees, and destination-country charges required for customs clearance, release, collection, or delivery of the shipment.

Customer responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate contact details, delivery information, and any documentation required for customs clearance or destination-country procedures.

The Customer is also responsible for responding promptly when information, approvals, payments, or instructions are requested in relation to the shipment.

Failure to complete customs clearance procedures, provide requested information, respond to requests, or comply with destination-country import requirements may result in delays, storage fees, additional charges, non-delivery, return, or abandonment of the shipment.

BaliSouk shall not be held responsible for delays, costs, non-delivery, losses, or consequences resulting from missing documentation, unpaid destination-country charges, refusal to accept the shipment, or failure to comply with destination-country requirements.

No refund or chargeback for customs-related issues

No refund, cancellation, chargeback, compensation request, replacement request, return request, or claim shall be accepted where delivery issues, delays, additional costs, non-delivery, return, abandonment, or customs-related complications result from destination-country regulations, customs procedures, unpaid charges, missing documentation, customer inaction, incorrect customer information, or refusal to accept the shipment.

The Customer acknowledges that customs clearance procedures, import duties, local taxes, and destination-country regulations remain outside BaliSouk’s control and cannot be used as grounds for cancellation, refund, dispute, return, or chargeback.

Delivery scope

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by BaliSouk, shipping services cover international transportation from Bali to the destination country under the applicable shipping conditions.

Delivery scope and destination handling may vary depending on shipment type, transportation method, destination country, local regulations, and shipping configuration.

Additional customs clearance, local coordination, collection procedures, or destination handling may be required before the shipment can be released or delivered.

Shipping services do not include unpacking, installation, assembly, debris removal, inside placement, upstairs delivery, storage at destination, or premium local delivery services unless explicitly confirmed in writing by BaliSouk.

Insurance

Shipments may be insured during international transportation where applicable under the selected shipping conditions.

Insurance coverage, limitations, procedures, and eligibility conditions depend on the applicable transportation conditions.

The existence of insurance does not create an automatic right to refund, replacement, compensation, cancellation, or chargeback.

Tracking

Tracking information is provided after dispatch where tracking is available.

Customers may receive tracking details by email and order updates may also be accessible through the Customer’s BaliSouk account.

Tracking availability and update frequency may vary depending on the transportation method and destination-country systems.

Delays and circumstances beyond BaliSouk’s control

BaliSouk shall not be held responsible for delays, losses, additional costs, missed deadlines, storage fees, or delivery disruptions resulting from customs procedures, transportation delays, weather conditions, inspections, force majeure events, regulatory actions, public holidays, or circumstances beyond BaliSouk’s reasonable control.

Estimated timelines communicated on the website, by email, at checkout, or by customer support are indicative only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates.

Customer support

Customer support is available to provide general information regarding shipping, estimated delivery timelines, tracking status, and shipment follow-up.

Accuracy of shipping information

BaliSouk is committed to providing clear and accurate shipping information based on the information available at the time of order.

International shipping conditions, customs procedures, destination-country fees, and local regulations may vary depending on destination, shipment type, and applicable requirements.

BaliSouk cannot guarantee the amount, timing, applicability, or accuracy of third-party charges imposed after dispatch.

Integration with Terms of Service

This Shipping Policy forms an integral part of the BaliSouk Terms of Service and all related policies published on the BaliSouk website.

By placing an order, the Customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted this Shipping Policy, including the provisions relating to international transportation, customs duties, destination-country charges, customer responsibilities, delivery limitations, and circumstances beyond BaliSouk’s control.

BaliSouk reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time to reflect changes in operational, legal, logistical, or regulatory requirements.

The version published on the website at the time of order placement shall apply to the corresponding order.
