Refund policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs order cancellations, refunds, and the non-returnability of products purchased through the BaliSouk website. By placing an order on the website, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.

All BaliSouk furniture and decorative items are created in Bali, Indonesia. Products offered on the website may be either produced exclusively upon order or already created and held in limited stock. In all cases, products are sold on an exclusive, made-for-sale basis and are reserved, allocated, or created specifically for the Customer upon order confirmation.

Due to the handcrafted nature of the products, whether made to order or allocated from existing stock, and due to the immediate reservation of materials, finished goods, and Bali production capacity following order confirmation, orders are subject to strict cancellation and refund conditions.

Orders may be canceled only if production, preparation, allocation, or reservation has not yet commenced. For the purposes of this Policy, production or preparation is deemed to begin shortly after order confirmation, as materials, finished items, or production capacity are immediately reserved and logistics preparation is initiated. Once production, preparation, or allocation has commenced, the order becomes irrevocable and cannot be canceled for any reason.

Any request for cancellation must be submitted as soon as possible by contacting BaliSouk at contact@balisouk.com. Cancellation requests are subject to verification and approval by BaliSouk.

A cancellation request may be approved solely in the following limited circumstances: the payment was unsuccessful or rejected by the Customer’s bank; production, preparation, allocation, or reservation has not yet commenced and BaliSouk expressly approves the cancellation; or BaliSouk is unable to fulfill the order due to exceptional operational constraints.

If a cancellation is approved prior to the commencement of production, preparation, or allocation, a refund of the amount paid for the product may be issued to the original payment method. Once production, preparation, or allocation has commenced, no refund shall be granted.

All BaliSouk products are handcrafted and sold either as made-to-order items or as limited-stock items allocated exclusively to the Customer upon purchase. Each item may involve unique dimensions, materials, finishes, or handcrafted characteristics. For these reasons, returns are not accepted under any circumstances, except where explicitly required by applicable mandatory law.

In accordance with applicable online commerce requirements, the return window is zero days and return shipping is not applicable.

Refunds may be issued only in exceptional circumstances, subject to verification and approval by BaliSouk. Such circumstances may include an approved cancellation prior to production or allocation, the inability of BaliSouk to fulfill the order, or the non-delivery of the item due to a verified and documented logistics failure.

In the event of a confirmed logistics incident, any refund decision shall be made only after a full assessment of the circumstances. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, shipping, handling, packing, insurance, logistics, and related fees are non-refundable.

BaliSouk shall not be responsible for delays, additional costs, or losses resulting from customs clearance procedures, port operations, carrier delays, force majeure events, or actions taken by customs authorities or logistics providers.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. BaliSouk reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. The version in effect at the time of order placement shall apply.
