The AD 3 Drawer Bed Side Table is a teak wood bed side table with real handcrafted character, measuring 50 × 45 cm and 60 cm high. Small, solid and quietly beautiful beside a bed.
In Java, teak is called the king of woods, and a well-made teak piece is still traded second-hand two generations later. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Layer it with linen, a woven basket and a soft light for a calm, resort-like bedroom. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
