Product details
The Adonia Dining Chair combines a polished natural rattan frame with a fitted seat cushion, striking a balance between the airy texture of woven furniture and the everyday comfort a dining chair needs for extended use. Its slim silhouette and tall backrest give it a slightly more formal presence than a low lounge piece, suited to a considered dining setting.
Rattan of this quality is selected and polished specifically to bring out a subtle sheen in the finished weave, a detail that separates it from raw, unfinished rattan furniture. Balinese artisans weave the seat and back over a bent frame, working the material while it retains enough flexibility to curve into the chair's silhouette before it fully sets.
The seat cushion adds a layer of comfort without disguising the woven structure beneath, its fabric chosen to complement rather than compete with the natural tone of the rattan. This combination makes the chair practical for daily dining use while preserving the textural, handcrafted quality that defines the wider collection.
Used around a dining table, the chair's tall back and slim profile keep a room feeling open even with a full set in place, avoiding the visual bulk that heavier upholstered dining chairs can bring. It suits both a light, coastal-leaning bali furniture interior and a richer, more layered boho furniture dining room.

Because the frame is rattan rather than solid wood, the chair also weighs considerably less than an equivalent teak dining chair, a practical detail for anyone who regularly rearranges a dining space to accommodate different group sizes. Its refined weave and tall backrest also mean it photographs particularly well for anyone documenting a considered dining room setup, the pattern catching light distinctly under different lighting conditions throughout the day. Its combination of comfort and refined weave has made it a consistently popular choice among buyers furnishing considered, design-forward dining spaces.
