Product details
The Amalfi Sofa extends the same Kubu grey rattan weaving and KSWV cushion pairing found in the armchair into a genuine two-and-a-half-metre seating piece, built for a living room or covered terrace that needs real lounging capacity rather than a single accent chair.
Weaving rattan across a sofa-scale frame demands the artisan maintain consistent tension over a considerably larger surface than a chair requires, a technically demanding process refined within Balinese workshops specializing in large-format rattan furniture over years of building sofas capable of comfortably seating several people at once. The looser Kubu technique gives the finished piece genuine textural depth across its full length rather than reading as a flat, repetitive pattern.
The included cushioning, upholstered in matching KSWV fabric, provides substantial comfort suited to extended lounging, its grey tone keeping the piece visually light despite its considerable scale — an important quality for a sofa intended to anchor a room without overwhelming it or making a space feel visually crowded.
Because the sofa and matching armchairs share the exact same weaving technique, cushion fabric, and grey tone, furnishing a full seating arrangement across multiple pieces produces a genuinely cohesive result rather than a collection of similar-but-not-quite-matching furniture sourced separately.
Paired with the matching Amalfi armchairs, the sofa completes a full living or lounge seating arrangement rooted in genuine bali furniture craftsmanship, its cooler grey palette suited to both contemporary and richer boho furniture interiors across a range of settings.
Explore more in Bali Sofas and Daybeds, browse Bali Outdoor Sofas and Sectionals, or see Bali Chairs for matching seating. Because the sofa's grey tone sits between warm and cool, it pairs unusually well with both terracotta and concrete accent pieces found elsewhere in the collection, functioning as a genuine bridge piece for interiors mixing several distinct material stories within a single, considered outdoor lounge area. Comfortable, considered, and built for years of daily relaxation and use. A dependable, comfortable choice for any terrace. Timeless.
