The Amazona Double Console pairs a dramatic teak root base with a tempered glass top, the natural, sculptural form of the root left largely as found rather than milled into uniform lines. At 180 centimetres across, it brings genuine scale and sculptural presence to an entryway or living space that a conventionally milled console table simply couldn't match.
Teak root furniture uses the dense, gnarled base sections of mature teak trees — material too irregular for conventional milled furniture but valued precisely for its dramatic, organic form. Balinese craftsmen select roots specifically for their sculptural qualities before shaping them into a stable, functional base, a process that requires assessing each root individually rather than working from a standardized template.
The tempered glass top provides a clean, practical surface while leaving the root's natural silhouette fully visible beneath, a considered pairing that lets the base function as sculpture while the glass ensures genuine everyday usability for keys, decorative objects, or styled accessories that need a stable, easy-to-clean surface.
Because each root base is unique, no two Amazona consoles are ever truly identical — a quality that appeals particularly to clients wanting a genuinely one-of-a-kind furniture piece rather than one of many identical units from a production run.
For interiors wanting a single dramatic bali furniture statement piece, the Amazona offers scale, sculptural character, and practical function in one considered console, its organic base ensuring it remains a genuine conversation piece for years after it's placed.

Because tempered glass is considerably more resistant to breakage than standard glass, the tabletop stands up well to genuine daily use — keys dropped, objects set down with some force — without the fragility concerns that a thinner, untreated glass surface might otherwise raise for a busy household entryway. A genuinely striking, dependable statement piece for any entryway or living room. A genuinely striking, dependable statement piece. Timeless. Genuinely practical. Genuinely versatile. Genuinely dependable. Genuinely considered. Genuinely distinctive. Built to last.

Each piece is individually handcrafted using natural materials. Subtle variations in shape, proportions, color tones, and weaving details are inherent to artisanal production and part of the uniqueness of every creation.
Exceptional materials. Handcrafted by our artisans in Bali. Made to last. Every BaliSouk creation brings authentic boho and bohemian style together with skilled craftsmanship, traditional craft techniques and direct-from-Bali value.
Our boho and bohemian teak furniture is handcrafted from solid teak, one of the world's most prized furniture timbers. Naturally rich in protective oils and valued for stability, strength and longevity, teak is chosen for furniture designed to be kept rather than quickly replaced.
From material preparation and assembly to hand sanding, detailing and finishing, every stage passes through the skilled hands of our artisans in Bali.
Our boho and bohemian furniture and decor draw on the craft traditions for which Bali is known. Our artisans shape, assemble, weave, carve, sand and finish by hand according to the needs of each piece.
True boho and bohemian style is not about disposable trends. BaliSouk pieces combine considered materials, skilled craftsmanship and careful construction so they can remain part of a home for years to come.
Your BaliSouk boho and bohemian piece is made to order and handcrafted in Bali by our own artisans. We do not outsource the craftsmanship to external artisans: human skill remains at the heart of every stage.
BaliSouk supplies private customers and international retailers. Buying directly from Bali gives you access to authentic handcrafted boho and bohemian furniture and decor before the additional layers of wholesale, distribution and traditional retail markup.
