At two metres long, the Ampera Bench offers genuine three-seater capacity in solid natural teak, its uncushioned surface built for durability in a hallway, garden path, or as additional outdoor seating around a larger table setting for entertaining.
Building a bench of this length from solid teak requires careful joinery to prevent flex or sagging across the full span, particularly important for a piece that will regularly support the weight of multiple people seated at once. Balinese furniture makers construct the frame with reinforced internal supports to maintain rigidity over the bench's considerable length, a structural consideration that shorter furniture pieces don't need to account for.
Left uncushioned, the bench keeps its silhouette simple and durable, suited to genuine outdoor exposure where fabric cushioning would need frequent replacement or careful storage during wet seasons. The natural finish allows the teak grain to develop a soft patina over time, whether left untreated or maintained with occasional oiling to preserve its honeyed tone.
Its considerable seating capacity also makes it a practical choice for hospitality settings, gardens, or larger households that regularly need to accommodate more people than standard chair seating alone would allow around a table.
Within a bali furniture outdoor space, this bench offers straightforward, considered seating capacity for larger gatherings, its solid construction built to handle years of regular outdoor use without the wear that lighter furniture would show.

Because the bench is left uncushioned, it requires minimal ongoing maintenance beyond occasional oiling, an important practical consideration for a piece positioned outdoors where fabric cushioning would otherwise need to be brought inside during wet weather or replaced periodically due to sun exposure and fading. A genuinely practical, durable choice for any outdoor gathering space. A dependable, durable choice for any gathering space. Timeless. Worth the investment. A considered choice. Genuinely comfortable. Genuinely practical. Genuinely versatile. Genuinely dependable. Genuinely considered. Genuinely distinctive. Built to last.

Each piece is individually handcrafted using natural materials. Subtle variations in shape, proportions, color tones, and weaving details are inherent to artisanal production and part of the uniqueness of every creation.
Exceptional materials. Handcrafted by our artisans in Bali. Made to last. Every BaliSouk creation brings authentic boho and bohemian style together with skilled craftsmanship, traditional craft techniques and direct-from-Bali value.
Our boho and bohemian teak furniture is handcrafted from solid teak, one of the world's most prized furniture timbers. Naturally rich in protective oils and valued for stability, strength and longevity, teak is chosen for furniture designed to be kept rather than quickly replaced.
From material preparation and assembly to hand sanding, detailing and finishing, every stage passes through the skilled hands of our artisans in Bali.
Our boho and bohemian furniture and decor draw on the craft traditions for which Bali is known. Our artisans shape, assemble, weave, carve, sand and finish by hand according to the needs of each piece.
True boho and bohemian style is not about disposable trends. BaliSouk pieces combine considered materials, skilled craftsmanship and careful construction so they can remain part of a home for years to come.
Your BaliSouk boho and bohemian piece is made to order and handcrafted in Bali by our own artisans. We do not outsource the craftsmanship to external artisans: human skill remains at the heart of every stage.
BaliSouk supplies private customers and international retailers. Buying directly from Bali gives you access to authentic handcrafted boho and bohemian furniture and decor before the additional layers of wholesale, distribution and traditional retail markup.
