At an imposing 220 centimetres tall, the Andreas Cabinet combines a single drawer with three open shelves, built from recycled teak in a natural rustic finish that lets every mark of the timber's former life remain visible across its considerable height.
Building a piece at this scale from reclaimed material requires selecting and joining boards carefully to ensure structural stability across the full height, particularly important for a freestanding cabinet without the support of an enclosing door structure. Balinese furniture makers reinforce the internal frame specifically to support this open configuration, distributing weight evenly across the shelving tiers.
The open shelving keeps contents visible and accessible, suited to books, decorative objects, or folded textiles, while the single drawer offers a place for smaller items that benefit from being out of view. This mix of open and closed storage gives the piece genuine everyday flexibility that a purely open or purely enclosed unit wouldn't offer.
The rustic surface, with its visible nail holes and tonal variation from decades of prior use, means the piece works particularly well as a genuine focal point rather than a piece meant to blend quietly into the background of a room.
Within a bali furniture living room or hallway, the Andreas brings substantial vertical storage together with the rustic, reclaimed-material character that runs through its wider product family, its scale making it a genuine architectural presence in any room it's placed.

Because reclaimed timber varies considerably from board to board, no two units of this cabinet will ever carry quite the same pattern of marks and grain, giving buyers a genuinely individual piece rather than one of many identical units. Its open shelving also makes contents easy to locate at a glance, without needing to open doors to search for items. Worth the investment for years to come. A considered choice for any room. Genuinely comfortable and practical. Genuinely distinctive, genuinely handcrafted. Built to last for years of use. A lasting favorite in any home.

Each piece is individually handcrafted using natural materials. Subtle variations in shape, proportions, color tones, and weaving details are inherent to artisanal production and part of the uniqueness of every creation.
Exceptional materials. Handcrafted by our artisans in Bali. Made to last. Every BaliSouk creation brings authentic boho and bohemian style together with skilled craftsmanship, traditional craft techniques and direct-from-Bali value.
Our boho and bohemian teak furniture is handcrafted from solid teak, one of the world's most prized furniture timbers. Naturally rich in protective oils and valued for stability, strength and longevity, teak is chosen for furniture designed to be kept rather than quickly replaced.
From material preparation and assembly to hand sanding, detailing and finishing, every stage passes through the skilled hands of our artisans in Bali.
Our boho and bohemian furniture and decor draw on the craft traditions for which Bali is known. Our artisans shape, assemble, weave, carve, sand and finish by hand according to the needs of each piece.
True boho and bohemian style is not about disposable trends. BaliSouk pieces combine considered materials, skilled craftsmanship and careful construction so they can remain part of a home for years to come.
Your BaliSouk boho and bohemian piece is made to order and handcrafted in Bali by our own artisans. We do not outsource the craftsmanship to external artisans: human skill remains at the heart of every stage.
BaliSouk supplies private customers and international retailers. Buying directly from Bali gives you access to authentic handcrafted boho and bohemian furniture and decor before the additional layers of wholesale, distribution and traditional retail markup.
