The Arno Bar Stool is a teak wood bar stool designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 35 × 35 cm and 70 cm high. Low-key, sculptural and made to be used every single day.
It has weight. Lift one end and you immediately understand why teak furniture gets inherited rather than replaced. In our Indonesian workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by cabinetmakers who have done nothing else for twenty years. No polish, no wax, no special product: a dry cloth, and teak oil once in a while.
Set it with ceramics, linen and a candle and it reads as effortless hosting. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda. It is specified regularly for resorts, villas and restaurants, where it has to look good and survive daily use.
