Meet the Athena Square Table, a rattan table shaped by hand in Bali in grey, measuring 55 × 55 cm and 55 cm high. It is the kind of table that invites you to sit down, share a meal and take your time.
Kubu rattan is recognisable by its soft, weathered grey tone, which gives the weave a calm, contemporary feel. The weave is built row after row by hand, following techniques passed down through generations of Balinese craftspeople. Tone variations in the weave make every piece slightly different, just as they should be when made by hand.
