The Barcelona Daybed is a handmade bamboo daybed in brown. Inspired by the pavilions of Balinese villas, it turns a terrace or poolside into a private retreat.
Light, strong and quick to grow back, bamboo has been used in Balinese building and furniture for generations. Our Balinese weavers work the fibre strand by strand, building the pattern entirely by hand. Its natural nodes and slight variations in colour give every piece an authentic, handmade look. Keep it dry and dust it regularly; indoors or under cover is best.
Set it up on a terrace, by the pool or in a spacious living room as your personal retreat. It fits naturally into boho, tropical and organic modern interiors, where handmade pieces take centre stage. As a natural material, it is happiest indoors or on a well-sheltered veranda. Pair it with a matching side table and a woven rug for a complete outdoor lounge. Sturdy enough for daily use, it is equally at home in a private house, a villa, a hotel or a restaurant.
