The Begonia Armchair is a handmade rattan armchair in the natural finish, measuring 60 × 68 cm and 90 cm high. It invites you to sit back, slow down and enjoy the moment, whether with a book or a cup of tea.
Rattan is a climbing palm from the forests of Southeast Asia: light, flexible when steamed and remarkably strong once it dries in shape. The weave is built row after row by hand, following techniques passed down through generations of Balinese craftspeople. Here, natural rattan is paired with natural leather for a balance of structure and texture.
Place it by a window with a side table and a lamp to create a reading corner full of charm. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for. As a natural material, it is happiest indoors or on a well-sheltered veranda.
