Made by hand in Bali, the Bertha Sink is a suar wood washbasin in the natural top coating finish, measuring 70 × 40 cm and 25 cm high. It turns the bathroom into a spa-like retreat inspired by Balinese villas.
Suar, also known as rain tree or monkey pod, is loved for its broad slabs and swirling grain that shifts from honey to deep brown. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. The contrast between light sapwood and darker heartwood makes every surface a one-off.
Pair it with natural stone, wood and plants for a spa-like bathroom inspired by Bali. Its natural texture sits perfectly in a boho interior, alongside linen, jute, plants and warm earthy tones.
