Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. In our Bali workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step. Knots, grain lines and subtle shifts of colour are the signature of real teak, not flaws to hide. Low-maintenance by nature, teak asks for little more than a gentle clean and, if you like, a touch of oil once or twice a year.
