Made by hand in Bali, the California Dining Chair is a rattan dining chair in the natural finish, measuring 68 × 80 cm and 79 cm high. Comfortable, sturdy and beautiful to look at, it helps turn a dining room into a gathering place.
Light but resilient, rattan is one of the most versatile natural fibres, as happy in curved frames as in fine, tight weaves. Our Balinese weavers work the fibre strand by strand, building the pattern entirely by hand. The combination of natural rattan and natural leather gives the piece both strength and a softer, tactile side. Hand weaving leaves subtle irregularities in the pattern, the proof that every piece was made by hand. Dust it with a soft brush and keep it indoors or under cover, away from direct rain.
