The China Writing Desk is a teak writing desk with real handcrafted character, finished in the white wash finish, measuring 150 × 75.5 cm and 80 cm high. It creates a calm, inspiring place to work, write or plan, far from the look of a standard office.
Few timbers age as gracefully as teak: its natural oils help it resist moisture and insects, and its honey-gold grain deepens with the years. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. Knots, grain lines and subtle shifts of colour are the signature of real teak, not flaws to hide. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
