Say hello to the Cross Coffee Table: a teak wood coffee table shaped by hand in our Java workshops, measuring 120 × 60 cm and 45 cm high. The piece that pulls a sofa, a rug and a pair of armchairs into one composition.
Solid teak brings a warm, honeyed tone and a tight, straight grain that feels smooth and substantial under the hand. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Paired with earthy tones, natural fibres and a jute rug, it creates a warm, layered boho living room. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
