Say hello to the Curly Stool: a water hyacinth stool crafted by Balinese artisans in grey, measuring 38 × 38 cm and 46 cm high. Small in size but big on character, it moves wherever you need an extra seat, a footrest or a surface.
Woven from dried water hyacinth, the piece has a plush, generous texture unlike any other fibre. Our Balinese weavers work the fibre strand by strand, building the pattern entirely by hand.
Use it beside a sofa, at the foot of a bed or in the bathroom, wherever an extra seat is welcome. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for. As a natural material, it is happiest indoors or on a well-sheltered veranda. Combine it with a low coffee table, a rug and a few cushions for a relaxed floor-level lounge. Sturdy enough for daily use, it is equally at home in a private house, a villa, a hotel or a restaurant.
