Balinese woodworkers shape every piece by hand, taking the time to smooth each edge and curve. Old joints, fine cracks and variations of tone remain visible, giving each piece a patina no new wood can imitate. Seasoned by time, recycled teak is remarkably stable and only asks for a regular dusting and an occasional wax or oil.
