In our Indonesian workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by cabinetmakers who have done nothing else for twenty years. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Layer it with linen, a woven basket and a soft light for a calm, resort-like bedroom. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
