The Dompul Teak Bed is a teak wood bed designed and handmade in Indonesia, available in 4 sizes, from 140 × 200 × 95 cm to 200 × 200 × 95 cm. It turns a bedroom into the calm, low-lit sanctuary of a Bali villa.
It has weight. Lift one end and you immediately understand why teak furniture gets inherited rather than replaced. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
It belongs in a room designed for slow mornings. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
