The best teak is cut from the heart of the trunk, and that is the only part we use — it is denser, darker and far more stable than the outer sapwood. Every piece passes through the same small workshop in Jepara, where one craftsman follows it from the first cut to the final sanding. No polish, no wax, no special product: a dry cloth, and teak oil once in a while.
Keep the palette to sand, chalk and wood and the room starts to feel like a villa. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Hospitality projects order it by the container: it holds up to constant use without losing its character.
