Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity — the dense, oily heartwood is what makes outdoor teak last. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. It ships knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through a garden gate. Rain does it no harm. Keep it off permanently wet ground and it will outlast the house.
Group it around a low table, add cushions in sand and clay tones, and the terrace is done. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
