Say hello to the IDF Double Back Sun Lounger: a teak wood garden daybed shaped by hand in our Java workshops, measuring 200 × 65 cm and 30 cm high. Poolside, in the shade, with nothing to do for an hour.
Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity — the dense, oily heartwood is what makes outdoor teak last. The shaping, the assembly and the finishing are all done by hand, which is why two pieces of the same model are never quite twins. It ships knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through a garden gate. Rain does it no harm. Keep it off permanently wet ground and it will outlast the house.
Group it around a low table, add cushions in sand and clay tones, and the terrace is done. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
