The Karpenter Bed Side Table is a teak wood bed side table with real handcrafted character, measuring 45 × 40 cm and 60 cm high. A book, a lamp, a glass of water: everything the night needs, close at hand.
The grain runs long and straight, with the occasional ripple where a branch once grew — the wood's own record of how it lived. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Add washed linen, a rattan light and almost nothing else — that is the whole recipe. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
