Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. From raw timber to final finish, the piece passes through the hands of skilled Balinese woodworkers. Here, solid teak is paired with natural leather for a balance of structure and texture. Its colour evolves over time, gaining depth indoors and a soft silver patina if left untreated outside. Low-maintenance by nature, teak asks for little more than a gentle clean and, if you like, a touch of oil once or twice a year.
