The Krank Bar Stool is a teak wood bar stool with real handcrafted character, measuring 40 × 40 cm and 75 cm high. Low-key, sculptural and made to be used every single day.
The grain runs long and straight, with the occasional ripple where a branch once grew — the wood's own record of how it lived. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Pair it with woven pendants overhead and a natural-fibre rug underneath. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
