The Laci 2X3 Chest Of Drawers is a teak wood chest of drawers designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 150 × 45 cm and 80 cm high. Deep drawers, solid teak and a presence that carries a whole wall.
Every plank is air-dried for months before it is touched, so the wood has already done its moving by the time it becomes furniture. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Paired with natural textiles and a rattan detail, it gives a bedroom that retreat feeling. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
