Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. The combination of solid teak and aluminium gives the piece both strength and a softer, tactile side. Every plank carries its own grain pattern, so no two pieces look exactly alike. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
