The Lee Dining Table is a teak wood dining table designed and handmade in Indonesia, available in 6 sizes, from 80 × 80 × 75 cm to 240 × 100 × 75 cm. It is the table people linger at long after the plates are cleared.
Every plank is air-dried for months before it is touched, so the wood has already done its moving by the time it becomes furniture. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. It is shipped knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through doors and up stairs. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Pair it with woven pendants overhead and a natural-fibre rug underneath. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
