Rattan is a climbing palm from the forests of Southeast Asia: light, flexible when steamed and remarkably strong once it dries in shape. Every strand is woven by hand in our Bali workshops, a slow craft that gives the piece its texture. The combination of natural rattan and teak branches gives the piece both strength and a softer, tactile side.
