Meet the Malawi Armchair, a rattan armchair shaped by hand in Bali in the natural finish, measuring 80 × 70 cm and 87 cm high. Comfortable and full of character, it creates a reading nook or conversation corner in seconds.
Rattan canes are steamed, bent into curves and woven by hand, a technique that lets Balinese artisans draw soft, airy lines. The weave is built row after row by hand, following techniques passed down through generations of Balinese craftspeople. Natural rattan meets solid teak, a pairing that brings contrast and depth to the design.
Place it by a window with a side table and a lamp to create a reading corner full of charm.
