Suar, also known as rain tree or monkey pod, is loved for its broad slabs and swirling grain that shifts from honey to deep brown. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. The contrast between light sapwood and darker heartwood makes every surface a one-off. Dust it with a soft cloth and use coasters and mats to keep the surface at its best.
It fits family kitchens, villa dining rooms and restaurants alike. Its natural texture sits perfectly in a boho interior, alongside linen, jute, plants and warm earthy tones.
