The Metro Table is a teak wood patio table designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 120 × 60 cm and 45 cm high. It anchors a terrace the way a good table should: quietly, and for years.
Teak is the only tropical hardwood that carries its own protection: silica and natural oils locked inside the fibre, which is why it survives outside without treatment. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. Rain does it no harm. Keep it off permanently wet ground and it will outlast the house.
Pair it with woven pendants overhead and a natural-fibre rug underneath. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. It is specified regularly for resorts, beach clubs and villa pools, where it has to look good and survive daily use.
