Handcrafted in Bali, the Modena Chair is a teak chair in dark grey, measuring 62 × 46 cm and 89 cm high. It combines relaxed comfort with a sculptural silhouette that looks beautiful from every angle.
Solid teak brings a warm, honeyed tone and a tight, straight grain that feels smooth and substantial under the hand. Each component is cut and hand-sanded by our Balinese craftsmen, then assembled and finished with care. Its colour evolves over time, gaining depth indoors and a soft silver patina if left untreated outside. The water-based finish protects the surface and keeps a soft, natural appearance. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
It works as well in a living room as in a bedroom corner or on a covered terrace. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for.
