The Mu Corner Modular Footrest is a teak wood garden bar stool designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 90 × 85 cm and 40 cm high. Pull it up to an outdoor bar and the evening starts properly.
Teak is the only tropical hardwood that carries its own protection: silica and natural oils locked inside the fibre, which is why it survives outside without treatment. Every piece passes through the same workshop in Jepara, where one craftsman follows it from the first cut to the final sanding. Leave it to silver, or sand lightly and re-oil once a year to hold the honey colour. Both are correct.
Mix it with mismatched chairs and hand-thrown plates for that collected, unstudied look. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. It is specified regularly for resorts, beach clubs and villa pools, where it has to look good and survive daily use.
