Handcrafted in Bali, the Mumbai Stool is a recycled teak stool in the natural, rustic finish. Compact and characterful, it proves that a small piece can completely change the feel of a room.
Recycled teak is timber given a second life: seasoned wood that already carries decades of history in its grain. Each component is cut and hand-sanded by our Balinese craftsmen, then assembled and finished with care. Old joints, fine cracks and variations of tone remain visible, giving each piece a patina no new wood can imitate. Seasoned by time, recycled teak is remarkably stable and only asks for a regular dusting and an occasional wax or oil. Built with solid joints and a stable frame, it is made for everyday use, not just for show.
