The Oval Dining Table is a teak wood dining table with real handcrafted character, available in 3 sizes, from 200 × 100 × 75 cm to 250 × 118 × 75 cm. It anchors a dining room the way a good table should: quietly, and for years.
Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity before being felled — which is why the grain is so tight. Every piece passes through the same small workshop in Jepara, where one craftsman follows it from the first cut to the final sanding. It is shipped knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through doors and up stairs. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
It works as well for a family breakfast as for a long dinner with friends. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
