Carved from teak root, the most irregular and dense part of the tree, the piece keeps the organic shape nature gave it. Balinese woodworkers shape every piece by hand, taking the time to smooth each edge and curve. The combination of teak root and cast resin gives the piece both strength and a softer, tactile side.
