The Paris Catania Folding Chair is a synthetic rattan chair with real handcrafted character, measuring 64 x 75 cm and 67 cm high. Comfortable enough to linger in, light enough to move where the light is.
The synthetic rattan is woven strand by strand over the frame, and it shrugs off sun, rain and salt air. In our own workshops, it is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by people who have done nothing else for twenty years. Knots, grain lines and small shifts of tone are the signature of a handmade piece, not flaws to hide.
Paired with earthy tones, natural fibres and plenty of greenery, it settles straight into a relaxed, lived-in interior where nothing feels staged.
