Pandan leaves are dried, cut into strips and plaited by hand, a craft practised across the Indonesian islands for generations. Weaving by hand takes time and precision; our artisans in Bali pull each strand tight to create a regular, lasting pattern. The combination of pandan leaf and jute gives the piece both strength and a softer, tactile side.
