The Raja Dining Table is a teak wood dining table with real handcrafted character, available in 4 sizes, from 200 × 100 × 75 cm to 300 × 110 × 75 cm. It is the table people linger at long after the plates are cleared.
Every plank is air-dried for months before it is touched, so the wood has already done its moving by the time it becomes furniture. The shaping, the assembly and the finishing are all done by hand, which is why two pieces of the same model are never quite twins. It is shipped knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through doors and up stairs. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
Hang something woven above it, keep the table almost bare, and let the wood be the decoration. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
