The Roda Batyline Sun Lounger is a teak wood garden daybed designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 202 × 75 cm and 30 cm high. Poolside, in the shade, with nothing to do for an hour.
Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity — the dense, oily heartwood is what makes outdoor teak last. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. No treatment is required. A wash with soapy water in spring is all most owners ever do.
