The Roxy Lux Rope Dining Chair is a teak wood dining chair designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 58 × 58 cm and 78 cm high. It brings texture and warmth to a dining room without shouting for attention.
Teak has long been the wood of choice in Indonesia for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Nothing here comes off a production line: the joints are cut by hand, the surfaces sanded by hand, and each piece is signed off one at a time. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Pair it with woven pendants overhead and a natural-fibre rug underneath. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
