The Salsa Dining Table is a teak wood dining table designed and handmade in Indonesia, available in 5 sizes, from 120 × 120 × 75 cm to 200 × 100 × 75 cm. It is the table people linger at long after the plates are cleared.
Solid teak brings a warm, honeyed tone and a tight, straight grain that feels smooth and substantial under the hand. In our Indonesian workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by cabinetmakers who have done nothing else for twenty years. It is shipped knock-down — flat-packed and ready to assemble — which keeps the volume down, protects the piece in transit and makes it far easier to carry through doors and up stairs. No polish, no wax, no special product: a dry cloth, and teak oil once in a while.
Mix it with mismatched chairs and hand-thrown plates for that collected, unstudied look. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Thanks to its solid wood construction, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda.
