The Scoot Double Seater is a teak wood patio sofa built to live outside, measuring 160 × 90 cm and 76 cm high. It turns a terrace into the room everyone actually wants to sit in.
Only heartwood goes into outdoor furniture: it is denser, darker and far more stable than the outer sapwood. The shaping, the assembly and the finishing are all done by hand, which is why two pieces of the same model are never quite twins. No treatment is required. A wash with soapy water in spring is all most owners ever do.
