Carved from teak root, the most irregular and dense part of the tree, the piece keeps the organic shape nature gave it. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. Its twisting forms and deep grain make it as much a sculpture as a functional object.
