Made by hand in Bali, the Sveidbag Lazy Chair is a teak lazy chair in the natural finish. It invites you to sit back, slow down and enjoy the moment, whether with a book or a cup of tea.
Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Each component is cut and hand-sanded by our Balinese craftsmen, then assembled and finished with care. Here, solid teak is paired with woven rope for a balance of structure and texture. Every plank carries its own grain pattern, so no two pieces look exactly alike. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
