Made by hand in Bali, the Uncle Rocking Chair is a teak rocking chair available in 2 colourways, measuring 62 × 110 cm and 97 cm high. It combines relaxed comfort with a sculptural silhouette that looks beautiful from every angle.
Few timbers age as gracefully as teak: its natural oils help it resist moisture and insects, and its honey-gold grain deepens with the years. From raw timber to final finish, the piece passes through the hands of skilled Balinese woodworkers. Its colour evolves over time, gaining depth indoors and a soft silver patina if left untreated outside. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
